No meeting data is directly managed at the Area level. All meeting data is managed by district or intergroup/central office trusted servants on their respective websites. The Area website then directly, or indirectly through an intermediate website, imports all Area 72 meeting data to display on the Area meetings page.

Unlike the Area website, which has one secondary source, the Meeting Guide app (the official meeting finder of A.A.W.S) imports meeting data directly from all our Area 72 district and intergroup/central office websites.*

*As of January 6th, 2024 this is not yet 100% achieved. The Area Webservant is currently working with all remaining district websites to get them directly connected to the Meeting Guide, but currently the Meeting Guide app imports the following sources indirectly through the Area website:

  • District 4
  • District

To prevent meeting duplicates, it is essential that every group’s meeting data is managed on exactly one website (source), though that information can then be shown on multiple websites through importing and filtering.

To find out what district or intergroup/central office website currently manages your group’s meeting data, find your meeting on the Area meetings page, click on the meeting to go to the meeting details page, and then scroll down and click on the “Update Meeting Info” button.
