A Remote Community in Alcoholics Anonymous is generally considered as any community where it is difficult to carry the message because of language, culture, or geography. However, each area determines how to apply this definition to its specific circumstances.
The survey aims at identifying the Remote Communities within Western Washington, with the intention of developing improved means of serving those identified communities.
